BIOGRAPHY
Nathan's journey began when he was awarded a bursary at the London Film Academy, and later received mentorship from director Menhaj Huda ('Flash' and 'Kidulthood') and BAFTA Nominee Amy Coop. He also honed his skills as a talent at the Northern Media Open Horizon.
Now, Nathan has established himself as a Senior Producer, Videographer and Director working at McCann World Group, NET-A-PORTER, where he produced, directed and edited TV commercials, Paid Socials and Online videos. He recently lead Co-Op's Christmas campaign featuring BAFTA winner Big ZUU, and worked with Dame Helen Mirren on a Loreal campaign as well as directing Grace Barry in Loreal Maybelline's Sunkisser Blush campaign. His Nurofen commercial 'Tune out Pain' was shortlisted at Cannes Lions 2022. Nathan went onto be one of the CANNES LIONS EUROBEST judges.
Nathan's talents extend beyond the commercial sphere.
He has a love for directing children's drama and has contributed to important causes through these films. He directed two official Anti-Bullying films in collaboration with the Anti-Bullying Alliance and the National Children's Bureau: 'I FUTURE MY FUTURE' and 'WHAT HAPPENED TO J?' And most recently, Nathan directed 'WHISPERS OF SMOKE,' a film that was picked up by Picture House cinemas U.K for screening during mental health week featuring Niahm James (RADA) and Tom Pritchard (Oscar Winning 'Judy').
In addition to his impressive body of work, he has written two feature scripts: 'RONALD,' which won the best script award at the Cape Town International Film Festival and secured funding from the South African NFVF Development fund, and 'MY SHADOW LAUGHED,' which was shortlisted at the CANNES QUIZANNE TALENT ZIDAKA. He also directed 'BLOWING DANDELIONS,' starring Sir Donald Sinden, which was accepted into the DURBAN LGBT+ Festival.
Currently, Nathan is channeling his creativity into writing three feature films.
